During his 35 years in the hotel industry focused upon upper-upscale and luxury boutique hotels, Spelts has been involved in planning and opening more than two dozen hotels. His career has taken him from Charleston to New York City, New Orleans, Dallas, and back to Charleston.

Larry’s development experience includes single assets as well as a master-planned community, the $500MM mixed-use Village of Dallas project for Lincoln Property Company that he participated in planning 2015-2017 and then led completion and opening preparations in 2018 and 2019.
